I will post a few shots once in awhile, enjoy Whitey

https://photos.app.goo.gl/afya2a29dBM27WTs8 from a wwyd, and Larry (lll) stated; I can not believe you guys have not seen / picked this shot! thanks, Larry!
https://photos.app.goo.gl/Kj4YYkzutvrRyDFJ8 same wwyd - my masse' shot selection
https://photos.app.goo.gl/NZuQnsoi6KpcUqhN8 This is from a Ghost wwyd. OneRock stated; " this is best wwyd ever" I agree!
https://photos.app.goo.gl/fZYnnbNd2z3W3RAn9 thanks Doc
!https://photos.app.goo.gl/L2de5ev2UsPgoq8Y8 This is a Knoxville Bear Bank as explained by Steve Booth, except I set it up harder by having both balls frozen to the rail. Ob frozen to 2nd diamond - cb frozen to rail just behind the line. Easier on a table that naturally accepts reverse, mine does not. It took 300 attempts to catch it on film, and the only way I was able to catch it was to do 20 attempts a day, otherwise it is to frustrating and you loose it. But I wanted to bring it to you!

Hope you guys have good luck with these shots if you try them, and let us know how it goes! Video replications of course are welcomed!
Enjoy! Whitey

I will be trying these. Thanks for sharing.
Playing in a 8 ball trnmnt I put a lockdown safety on a guy who almost pulled off a more impressive masse kick then your shot. Guy had to go down table about 18"s before coming back and kicking off opposite side rail. Greatest masse attempt I have ever witnessed. Semi has better ones but I have only seen video.

unopero, what you are depicting is a force following draw masse', which is not normally an atypical masse' for OP. So yes, that was a special shot you witnessed.
I believe I did a masse' shot similar to this for OP.org, I will see if I can find it. It is actually a champion caliper trick shot that we have witness on tv when the old school trick shots championship was being televised. But, you shoot into a ball pocketing it in the upper corner and then the cb follows forward and curves around the spotted triangle rack (stack), and then comes back and makes a ball in the corner foot pocket.

The other more common masse' is to shoot from like the center diamond foot rail to 2nd diamond side rail and then have the cb masse' back and make the ball in the opposite side foot corner pocket. I use to do this shot a number of years ago but never video it. I'll put up a video in my next post that is from a wwyd that is very similar.

thanks for the comment, it brought back some memories of some masse's that I had not thought about for quite awhile!

Whitey thanks for the reply.
To be clear I hooked the guy in the side pocket on the point. There were balls blocking kicking off the opposite long rail . He massed the ball almost to the headspot before it turned and went off the opposite long rail , past the opposite point it was at , and then down to the foot rail. He barely missed a good hit on his object ball.

So his cueball went ahead 18" and came back 5' while widening out 3 1/2'.

https://photos.app.goo.gl/uNU2Fy76ayAarXaU9 this is my shot selection from a Ghost wwyd, your hole is the left corning pocket.

unopero, this is the shot that is similar to the old school trick masse' shot. The difference is the object ball would be in the right corner foot pocket. Therefore you would have to hit further up the side rail because it is going to curve more coming back to the corner pocket. This is a common OP masse' shot.

https://photos.app.goo.gl/onYRMfS2cR16q5sE7 this is the full view of Ghost's wwyd. WWYD?

https://photos.app.goo.gl/g1Vu2KKrQzkzYJw27 this is from a OP scenario I set up.

The shot selection shows what is possible and at times are not the best or most logical shot selection!
enjoy, Whitey

This shot is a tribute to John Henderson! It is from a wwyd, and I am sure glad I located it! John was the first to choose this shot selection. Although appearing simplistic you have to respect the learned knowledge of how to correctly play this shot. There are those members that you just know they are lifetime players for when they choose their shot selection they not only know where the intended object ball is going but also where subsequently contacted balls and the cue ball are going, and will end up. John is of course one of those members.

Highly advance OP players can read when going into balls where each ball is going and where they will end up. For me this represents the highest standard a OP player can obtain, and of course John was there!

here are some shots from Ghost's wwyd & a Androd wwyd. Shots by The Barber, Baby Huey, Androd!

Maybe Baby Huey can explain his shot!
Androd's two ball spot shot is not as easy as it looks. It takes a certain stroke to achieve this outcome.

We want to thank these great players for sharing their shots!
Enjoy, Whitey

The shot Dennis (Whitey) Young posted is a shot from a match I had with Efren about a dozen years ago. He shot it on me and made it and before I would pay him his money, I held him hostage until he showed me how to shoot it. Ha Ha. I did post it on Daniel Busch's POV pool where it's still available. Both balls are frozen or almost frozen and when you strike the ball closest to the rail with extreme inside english, the ball sits there for a millisecond and then gets kicked into the pocket by the cue ball.

A few stroke shots!

On Chip Comptom's game, he played some kind of safety. The 2 shots videoed was prompted by Steve, and by his request of wondering if with the balls that close could we still make a play towards Chips pocket. Great intuition to recognize that yes the shot is possible. Thanks Steve!

On Scott Frost's shot vs.SVB he missed cued after about 5 minutes. I think by that time he was brain dead. Actually he had several shot selections, and I believe this was made into a wwyd. I have couple more shot selection videos of this but did not post.
My shot selection of force following on the 8 is one of my all time favorite shots. The other shot selection of coming off of the rail into the 12 and hiding behind the 2 is mr3cushion's.

The about face bank is my set up scenario. If you try it, try it with less cut and then work up to it to achieve the about face effect that I did.
Enjoy, Whitey

https://photos.app.goo.gl/vBQRzyw8vxSqQvDX7 this should of been in last weeks videos, it is from Scott Frost vs. SVB
https://photos.app.goo.gl/s66dioqgJjMhfWRDA Billy Jacket's Shot!
mr3cushion's OP Spot Shot w/ Shape!

Billy Jackets has an extremely inventive mind when it comes to shot creations. I really enjoyed recreating his shots. I love his proposition bet shot of pocketing the ball and scratching in the side. Also, on Billy Jacket's shot that contacts the rail before the ob this could be a very useful op shot if say you had a an impeding ball that kept you from hitting it fully.

Geez, I just noticed one video has me running balls, wow, I am jumpy! I started using mr3cushion shot preparation and stroke technique from his video lessons and it greatly improved my shot making abilities. Much improved over this jumpy video. Thanks!

mr3cushion, I call him our stroke guru! I could not find his original OP Spot Shot video, but I think I captured his stroke technique in making the shot!

The Mike Massey follow up video of the OP Spot Shot that features his stroke technique is very hard to pull off. What it is that makes such a radical reverse is the cue ball leaving the table surface creating more spin. Massey's shots of this nature can be found on the internet.

We want to thank Billy Jackets and mr3cushion for their contributions to the op.org site! Great Shots!
