I’ve been wearing “pool glasses” for pool and other glasses every day — hmmmm
if you get your pool glasses from a place that does pool glasses they tweak your prescription so you see best from 3-12 feet which when you try to uses for everyday its tough to use in normal distance
if you get the glasses with your normal prescription then you dont get the benefit of the tweak
notice above where he states
"un-modified Rx only"
thats how i interpret it
probably best to ask curran directly if you are interested

After struggling for years with using progressive lenses for my pool glasses that didn't let me have a clear focus when looking through the top part of the lenses when down on a shot, I had my last pair made with the focal point for the top part moved up as high as possible and they work much better. Now I can clearly see the balls down table through the top part and the cue ball clearly through the middle section. Game changer!

not sure where you had your glasses done but a pool glasses specialist will automatically raise the sweet spot of your lenses knowing you are looking up and not just straight ahead
