I received this Email from someone I don't know, but he retro fitted his diamond pool table to play 3C.

Bill;
I got your book and DVD from a friend of mine: Paul Frankel

I finished watching all of the DVD chapters and executing the 1st 30 shots out of the book. What a tremendous amount of work you put into this production.
Thanks so much for taking the time to do this book.

I have created eBooks in the past (artistic pool related) so I know some of what it takes.

I am a 6 month novice at 3C and started by learning the basic multi rail 1st systems but your book puts a whole new perspective on what one needs to learn since most of the systems dont teach position.

I do your shots on a converted 9ft diamond table (using Carom balls, I raised rails to match Carmon size and install Syn-Surf on the bed to get billiard clock speed (from Dan Bennices), and home made pocket fillers. Not a great match to a billiard table but it is what I have to work with.

That's Professor QBall, the guy who's responsible for putting on the big 3-cushion events at Casino del Sol in Tucson and a not-too-shabby player in his own right. I met him a couple years ago at his home room The Rack in Memphis.

Here's his website ...

Sorry, I skimmed too quickly and mistook Paul for the person who emailed you out of the blue. I actually took it for a good sign that he might be doing a table conversion project like this since last I heard he'd had a health scare at the nationals. Hope he's well in any case and still playing.
