Hank, I'll be the first to reply, since I was the first to directly reply in the first place.Howdy All;
Sorry if I created a problem. Thought I was just asking a question.
Whitey, Steve and everyone else, Ok, I can understand the bit of folks being concerned about
being 'Hustled'. So, why not just simplify the whole process and just state that ANY ball made on
the Break should be spotted after the breaker finishes his/her inning? Like they do for Banks? It's
simple, consistent and covers both holes.
Just a thought.

But, I think it is simple to answer. The long standing historical standard rule for the break is; opponent racks and if a ball is scored in the breaker's pocket it then counts and the inning continues.
There is no one on this planet that can change this rule, or wants to.
otherwise yes, you are right.
thanks, Whitey
