After Artie B reminded us fifty-six times to stop making so many mistakes, I finally heard his message, and I'm seeing some improvement in my game. I have always liked to show how smart I am by finding those special shots that ought to come out just fine. Too many of them didn't, and I have nightmares about the last ball rolling ruining my plan. It happened too often. So now I am passing up most of those and looking for safer moves that will still provide a positive result..
Here's a word of advice to anyone who wants to play one-pocket. If you put billiard balls in motion, be durn sure you know where they will stop. All of them. Each and every one. Move only the ones you need to, and then move them to good places. If you're not sure where they will go, better keep looking for another shot.
