US Open 1 pocket this year?

Hey,
Anyone know if there will be a US Open 1 Pocket championship this year? Or was it already held? I seem to remember the last couple of years it was held in conjunction with the amateur BCA 8-ball championships, and I don't see that going on with it in Vegas right now.

Joe, it's my understanding that Mark Griffin probably won't host a U.S. 1P Championship this year. He unfortunately took a bath last Fall at the "Qlympics" in Louisville, so I think he's going to re-group and re-think his usual summer event which has included the 1P. Mark and Greg are temendous assets to pool in general, and one-pocket in specific; so I'm sure he'll be dreaming up some goodies for us. Maybe if we all prodded him a little, he'd put on his 1P thinking cap a little sooner...;)

P.S. Grady is planning a "Legends Of One Pocket" event at his beautiful room in Lexington, SC on Dec. 5-7. I'd fully expect all one-pocket junkies to be at that one!
