Yeah, well I only play in the same league as my colleagues. Like when Lou and his cohorts ambushed me during Eric's video. Oh, gee I didn't bother to mention that in the middle of my BUSINESS day they came to MY PLACE OF WORK to stir shit with me.

They came to my trade show booth for the express reason to cause trouble.

Isn't this the same thing that Eric PUNCHED an old man for?

Trust me though, I wouldn't really do it. Lou wants to duck me then so be it. He ducked me last year when he had three days to come and play me. If he wants to be petty then let him.

What he is NOT telling you is that we were cool with each other until he started in AGAIN with all the insults about being delusional for using CTE.

That's the history you don't know.

OK, so I get another email... emails or not, I'm tried of responding to John. And when I explain why you'll all understand:

I have no idea when the thing with Eric happened *but I had nothing to do with it.* My first SBE trip was last year and I did stop by to say hi to John at his booth and he and I and some old RSBers spent some time together, chatting cordially, until John went "off line." If you care to read it, here is my account of that trip in its entirety:

http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=181169

If you don't, here is the passage that pertains to John:

"Back at the SBE I wander around all the booths again, doing a slow pass. Of course the one thing I wanted to buy -- some super-fine 2600 grit sandpaper -- not a single vendor in this pool Merkato had. Somehow I had missed the "Fury Pavilion," tucked back in a corner on the second floor, and decide I’ll see if John Barton is in. And he is. In fact, he’s sitting at the entrance to his booth next to Jimbo, with Fred hovering nearby, and it’s sort of like a mini-RSB reunion. And so we all talk about various things for an hour, until John gets hot talking about cue cases (in particular, about past discussions concerning cue case protection), walks away, and that’s that. Jimbo informs me about a gathering planned later that night. And I break for dinner at Legal Seafood down at the mall. A good dinner was had by all."

So the only "delusional" one is John -- either that or he is now so desperate for attention that he is making things up out of thin air.

Well, my brother is going to Vegas too, so if you're really desperate I might be able to talk him into wearing a bikini in return for some $. It won't be pretty, but if you're drunk enough you probably won't notice :)

OK, thanks for the offer, Roy -- but I think we can all agree that passing on it is the correct move :)

um, not quite. Eric came up to do his big "challenge" and you and the others had seated yourselves right there to witness the "event".

We didn't talk about various things. We talked about me, and you insisted I only criticize Justis and I protested that that is not true and you claimed it is and Fred had to correct you. When I left the conversation such as it was it was then it because I had to work. I was at work after all and I was being called over to talk to a dealer who had been waiting to speak to me.

So call it what you will but if you and the others were just coincidentally there and all seated with front row seats at just the random moment that Eric decided to make his historic challenge I suggest you all buy lottery tickets because you're the luckiest people on Earth.

And regardless of how you particularly ended up there, YOU were the one getting argumentative about things and not me. I just said your characterization was not fair or accurate.

I was not there when Eric was anywhere around your booth. I don't know what happen before, or after. I'm putting you back on Ignore because talking with you is useless.

I would be happy to give a decision. If asket. I am very good at that. I have too no what happened and I promise you will both like my decision. But If not. I will mind my owne buissness. And let you two decide it.

Witch will end in a tie or draw. But I would help and give a decision. If you both what a decision.

If not You two will work it out any way. Because by the little I no you both seem too no each other pretty good.

And I have no favortisum either way. And I have given some very big decisions. In some real tough spots.

And I give fair decisions. But I will let it go if nobody wants a decision. Because you both might want too settle it with each other.

Just trying too help. Even though its none off my buisness. And if thats the case Forget I ever mentioned it.

Some times a nutral party can help. And tommarow is another day.

Artie, with all due respect you weren't there, so you can't say what happened. I've asked someone who was there to weigh in, though I don't know if they'd even want to get involved in this mess.

Your wright I dont no what happened. And I was not thier. But I have settled lots off differences with people.

And I dont no why I get involved when everyone else avoids getting involved.

I guess I must just injoy Trying to straighten out problems. I dont no why maybe because if thier was a dispute or something like that they would ask me for a decision.

And I always gave a fair decision even if one off the people was my friend. I didnt take his side because he was my friend. I always gave the fairest decision I could give.

You are grown adults and you will work it out. And you will both feel better when you do it. Forgiving is hard too do but it works.

With all these people showing up for dinner, you'll need a seating chart and an action line. Will TAR be there to stream?

Looking forward to this, should be a great time and I agree a smaller 6-8 man table would be nice but if it gets to 12 I am sure we will still be fine. :)

THats a real cool picture. And I like the hat. What do you look like when you loose? I hope you never loose. But winning is without a dought the best feeling out off the two.

Your going in the wright direction. Keep up all the good things I see you doing.

And if you come to Las Vegas for the US open. Bring some short sleeve shirts Sunglasses.

And a big duffal bag to carie home all the winnings. But only come with a few dollars that way you loose a little or win a lot.

And the temptation thinking about all the money you can win. Is very tempting.

And all thier advertisements and commercials they only show winners. So you no all the want from you is your money. And send you home brock and empty.

But enjoy youre visit. And the best spot in las vegas if you come with your wife or girl friend is at the Stratesphere.

THe observation Deck its on the 108 floor. And you can walk all aroun the obsevation deck and see all off las vegas.

And if you get lucky at winning or you want too spend more money for food they have a restaurant on the 106 floor.

And while you are eating it takes you around in a complete circle. And you can see all off las vagus.

And go at night and you can see the whole strip out off benaculars on the observation deck.

And if you have a strong heart and like exciting rides thats the place too go.

One more thing If you go too the restaurant on topoff the Srarisphere you will have to make a reservation.

And no shorts or Jim shoes they have a dress code. But just dress casuale with a sports jacke will be fine.

This is the place I would recomed if you have never been too las vegas or you have never been at the stratisphere.

And you will see los vegas is in a vally sourounded by mouintains. And if you dont go into the restaurant. it will be very cheap.

I dont think they even charge you too go up too the obsevation deck.

And go at night. Because its seeing the whole stip lite up at night is the greatest view in las Vegas.

I thought I would bring it up incase some people want too go around instead off just staying at the Riveara.

And the Stratis phere is very close. % minutes in a cab. Witch will be easy too get at either casino.

Enjoy the gambling capital off the world. And they use to have 9 off the biggest hotels in the world. But I dont no now. Because off Machow i China.

THey poor Casinos only made 2 and a half Billion Dollaers in Macow. Jump changed compaired to our deficete. But it sure is a lot iff youre brocke.

Enjoy the lights and the glamor and whatever you do control youre gambling. Unless you are winning. THen go too win the Casino. I dont think that has ever been done.

But all kiding aside keep your money in your pocket. It wont spoil. And if you want too gamble take youre money out off your pocket and put it in youre other pocket.

All the games are thier too take youre mony. And remember every bet you make you have the worst off it.

You dont want too play a pool game with the worst off it do you. So why play there games with the worst off it.

And you can qoite me on this and chalk it up. Only suckers think they can get lucky and win.

Dont give a way your hard earned money. Its better in your pocket then thiers.

Loosers make excuses Winners find ways. Enjoy the tournement and I hope everyone plays thier best game.

Mom''s advise, 12 or 20

Mom''s advise, 12 or 20

Mom told me that dinner parties should be 12 or less, or 20 and over. Has to do with the flow of conversations.

I will be calling the restaurant in a few days to see how many they can seat at *one table.* That will be the deal maker -- I hate going to a function and someone I want to meet and talk to ends up seated at another table. I figure we can get eight for sure... maybe as many as 12. Any larger and it would be silly. So I think we'll end up capping this at eight or ten and I know this is going to create a problem at the end when all of a f*cking sudden some folks (you know who you are) decide they want to come :)

No doubt, there are tons of great restaurants in Vegas and I've been lucky enough to eat in several of them. But this is about timing and convenience -- the food is secondary -- and making it easy to get everyone together.

If you bet over 12 and under twenty. And you can bet two separate people you can win both sides If it comes 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 !2 and 20 is a tie and you win a side.

Just in case you can get that bet.

Eddie.....sounds like you might not be low-class enough to hang around here with us degenerates..;)...

...growing up myself, I never even heard the phrase "dinner party" from my parents - if we ever had dinner with other people or relatives, it was called a "pot luck" dinner...:D...and as for the "flow of conversation"...

...at my house, the "flow of conversation" would have been something like: my aunt Rose asking my mother for her Chicken Cacciatore recipe, and my uncle Pete passing over his racing form and asking my uncle Tony who he liked in the daily double for the next day...

- Ghost

PS, Eddie, you don't hang around with sunnyone by any chance, do you?...:D

PPS, Just funnin' with you Eddie...:)
