I met Matlock at Shooters in Olathe last year. The place wasn't busy and he came out from behind the counter to shake my hand and we talked for a bit. He said 3-cushion was his favorite game these days and that other than running racks at 9-ball that's all he ever really played anymore. He didn't tell me this but I heard from another source that his high run is 18.
