I am not 100% sure yet on my attendance, I was just curious how many out there plan on attending in January. After being cancelled this year, I would expect a good turn out but who knows. I already know Mitch the Beast can't stay away but who else plans on coming? :)

Hahha funny. And incorrect, my not so young Jedi. I had such a great time at Buffs onepocket tournament last year that I will likely use my time off to go there again and will skip the derby. Also still too close to the rona to be locked in a closed environment for a week. Not that it makes a difference I’m sure but…

I was not planning to go, but my travel partner John has been talking about going, so I've been thinking about it. Then yesterday I got a call from them that our HOF dinner might be possible there again, now that they are adjusted to the new setup (with the casino on land instead of the boat). So that opens up a whole new possibility, which I hope to get ironed out soon. We have Alex and Bustamante to induct, since they were unable to get to Buffalo's in time. So if they will be at the Derby -- and the Derby can indeed host us, that becomes a possibility that did not exist the last two years.

Just booked the room. The prices have went up on the hotels and entry fees! This may be my last one. Seriously!
Yeah, I wish Greg could find another suitable venue. But there just aren't that many places that would work, and that would want the DCC. Plus being so close to their factory, it makes it so much easier to transport all the equipment.

I am going for the banks and one pocket. I have heard that a different cue ball might be used in the 2022 Derby City Classic. Fortunately, this different cue ball will not roadblock my abilities to eek out a couple wins. I might be shooting too high on that statement.

I'm not even staying at the casino. The casino is like $135 after taxes and more for the weekends. You have to finish top 10 just to break even!
