2 fine looking family members. Try to at least be the boss of the dog.View attachment 440273
New Puppy in the Mkbtank household. Meet Ozzy. He’s a Coton De Tulear. The model holding him is my wife Regina, who is occasionally mistaken for my daughter lol. We met shooting pool 20 years ago. Best thing pool ever gave me. Heh. And yes Ozzy has only the very best taste in football teams.
Great photo, Ghostie!! I think Ames was just a few doors west of 7th Ave. on 44th St. Judging by the cars, the picture may have been taken around 1960. Doc went up there in the summer of '62-- up those long stairs to enter into what I thought was a tabernacle of pool. I'd seen The Hustler, and assumed Ames was the center of the pool world.N.Y.C. - 1950'S --- View attachment 444169"This is Ames mister"
That's a staggering, sprawling castle/estate isn't it? When I visited years ago, I believe they had 3 separate tours you could take. Don't know if it's the same now. I LOVED the billiard room of course. But I also could get a mental picture of Johnny Weissmuller working out in the massive indoor pool, and Charlie Chaplin horsing around near the imposing front door.View attachment 444304
Hearst Castle game room. Once upon a time, a long long time ago. By the way, on our tour there, I noticed that the cues were Titllist Cocobolo one piecers'.
