I'm wondering who 'Cruise Ship' Ben is, but mainly I am really sorry to miss this year!!

Not going to make it. I had a maybe going for a bit, but then I got Covid again lol. Mild this time so not a problem, but I shouldn't travel. It's why travel is such an issue for covid, in my opinion, because people don't want to change their plans so they travel anyway, whether they have it or not. All three times I have had it were immediately after travel. That's my take on it based on my own experience anyway!

Ah, sorry to hear that. Glad it's mild. I just had it 3 weeks ago and it knocked me on my ass.
I've had it twice before and it was nothing. This time was different. Hope you have a quick recovery. Sorry to miss you.

Thank you! Already testing negative and about back to just my usual cough. Of course my usual cough is pretty scary lol. I have qualified for the Paxlovid antiviral mix all three times and that stuff works like a miracle on Covid -- milder every time!

Wow, three times is crazy.
I'm pretty lucky to live in the sticks. Its hitting everywhere right now.. Preparing for more fishing / camping this season so I can stay away from people. Get well soon!

When you make that drive, that time of year, do yourself a favor and don’t go directly down the highway! There are great more scenic routes going west through rural Maine into more northern NH and then down from the white mountains past the lakes in central NH, and then on down toward Boston. Plan to make a day of it, that time year is peak foliage.

Kathy and I are spending two nights in Lake George then driving to North Conway for three nights for our fall color tour.

I went to a Tennis camp in North Conway many years ago
beautiful mountains, and the ride from the Portland airport was gorgeous
Once I got off the freeway
the 2 Lane highway in the mountains, viewing the lakes really gorgeous
