Most national media outlets have reported that there is a severe shortage of Uber/Lyft drivers.

In addition, the ride sharing platforms are implementing “surge” pricing at peak hours with some riders reporting it cost them $200 for a ride to the airport that might normally cost $40.

I experienced this in NOLA. No drivers, not even taxis. And when you got one you paid out the nose.

Just sayin’.

Sounds good to me -- which hotels? We can also share Lyft or Uber if we are at the same hotels. Car rental right now is ridiculous $$$ imo, but maybe it will be back closer to normal by November.
Days Inn, Quality Inn, Super 8. All about 70 a night and are the closest to the pool room. Waffle house right next door to the hotels. 5 min drive. Fast food and inexpensive restaurants all around the area. One exit south there is a excellent Chicago Vienna Hot dog restaurant....
