the format works well in tennis.
right now in tennis at wimbledon
Djokovic came back from 2 sets down to win 3 in a row and nadal was down 2-1 in sets but won the last 2 sets to win
i think it should be exciting

I think the format sounds cool, something different. Playing a long race, a player can get behind and not be able to get back in it. This way, you have a chance with a new race.
