A lot of staples per foot on 3C table

The cloth on 3C tables is stretched very, very tight! Which leads to using many, many staples!

The cloth for 3C tables has about 300 threads per square inch.

With the 100% nylon cloth used now days it can take a real stretching.

About 25-30 per foot. Here's a full scale photo.

The Best cloth Simonis makes is for 3C tables, "Rapide 300." 90% wool & 10% nylon/300 threads per inch.
Pool cloth from Simonis has less threads per inch and, I believe more wool.
In the last 5-6 years, another company, Royal Pro has developed a 100% Nylon cloth which is faster/thinner, 50% cheaper than Simonis, and really requires No heat on a 3C table. I believe they have just came out with a similar cloth for Pool.
