The 10th Annual OnePocket.org Members Only Tournament took place at Chicago’s iconic Chris’s Billiards poolroom. 29 players competed, including three former MOT champions. In the end however, it was longtime local favorite Ike Runnels that prevailed.
Although Ike got knocked into the one loss side early by defending champion Mike Eck, Ike was able to bring the combination of his tremendous knowledge of the game and his strong firepower to work his way through the south side of the bracket and eventually top hot seat winner Ben Smith to win in the single race to 4 finals.
Chicago having a strong One Pocket community, with at least two rooms holding regular One Pocket tournaments, Chris’s drew a crew of local players to go along with regular members from around the country.
