We should have some sort of Chicago vs. Kentucky Banking Match

I have always thought that there should be a Mosconi Cup style match between Chicago and Kentucky in banks.

The competition should be fierce. You could play a mix of short rack, full rack, scotch doubles etc.

You could expand the geographic locations and end up with a "North" and "South" team or something like that.

If I had the ability I would try to organize this myself, but for the time being I can't.

While the Chicago Team is nowhere near its glory days, we still have a few decent players. Chris Gentile, Ike Runnels, Piggy Banks, Jeff Carter and John Zaksas for starters.

Neil banks real good, but he aint gonna beat any of those guys I named. And he never will until he learns to play safe once in awhile. His backer once brought him to me for lessons and help because he had a big match coming up. I gave up with him in about 10 minutes after he started giving me lessons.

Oh yeah, the result of that match for 10k. He was playing Jet Johnson. Do I need to tell anyone who won?

I might have been dumber. What saved me is that I knew I was dumb. I made it a point to acquire knowledge. That at a time when knowledge was jealously guarded and seldom released.
