This is a pretty funny little old book (maybe 30's or 40's would be my guess). It has a chapter on billiards, but covers all kinds of english gentlemen's competitive games. The whole premise of the book is tongue-in-cheek sharking techniques, in British style. This is not a serious book, but it it pretty funny.
There happens to be one on eBay right now, located in New Jersey. Usually they are in England, which makes the shipping kind of steep. This one looks in pretty good condition, too. It is not my listing -- I just stumbled on it -- I already have the book
