Ghosty, anyone who knows me knows that that is not me. (I have fuller lips and smaller breasts). I suggest that you spend less time scouring the internet looking for pics and more time practicing pool. Isn't there some sort of tournament coming up soon? :lol In particular, PLEASE practice controlling your cue. Here is a picture of a poor guy who was victimized by you.

Thank you Clare, I was going to sweat the partners match but I need no cue sticks smashing my beautiful face.

Clare....you're teaming up with Papie against me again!..:(...and this after I was so nice saying you were lovely, and putting up such a nice pic of you...although I can see why you would feel sorry for old Papie, and want to help him fight his battles, (imagine, he's so desperate he'll even let a girl help him fight ) since he has to feebly try and defend himself against the tremble-inducing 'Devil's Triangle' of myself, Dennis and Freddy.....:heh

- Ghosty

PS, As for me practicing...fear not Clare...I'm in dead-stroke - I got my practice in day before yesterday, by doing some sociable gambling with a 'decent player' for 4-1/2 hours...he wanted to gamble sociable/practice with me, because we agreed that him playing against my moving would be good practice for him with the DCC coming right up...I came out a little ahead...oh yeah, I forgot to say who it was I was playing...

It was Chris Gentile...

It was Bobby Gentile !!! (Chris' 12 yr. old nephew, tough game, but I am the Ghost ya know)

Ghroatassy,

I would suggest you practice your PRAYING, and 'pray' you don't draw Chris for your first match... (he plays a little better than Bobby. Heh,heh, heh)

PS..Either that, or work on your 'Samuri Cue Stick' delivery...This guy looks like he survived..:lol :lol :lol

Socrates

Ghosty,

We three are a distant second to Clare, she's in possession of the original "Devil's Triangle":D

Dennis

That's what Socrates thought of it. When he got old and became erectionally dysfunctional, his famous quote describing his new condition was, "At last I am rid of the wretched curse!" (true quote)

First Diogenes then Socrates, you got something against Aristotle and Plato??? How about that Pluto guy? What's the deal with that clitus dude? Or is that what you would call "a broad":D

Rod,

You're usually a step ahead of me but this time I don't know what you're talking about:confused:. Not unusual I know.

One odd thing about that pic, it was taken probably in the 86-88 timeframe in our Upper Pennisula and I still have the hat (weatherbeaten and minus the feathers), the sweater (I'm too fat (250lbs.) to wear it now) and the Rolex.

Dennis

That is a great picture. It reminds me of a guy who was quite a ladies man back in the 1970s who did tons of TV named Andrew Prine. He did a few movies also. I have always been fascinated with the UP and always ask anyone I meet from Michigan have they been there? I would love to go there and visit Keweenaw County , The Copper Island and some of the ghost towns. They have only 3% of the pop but nearly a third of the land, and actually have a population decline. I know the winters are harsh and the Great Lakes have a great effect on it. Did you know the UP produced more mineral wealth than the Cal Gold Rush ever did? Those three strands of barbwire bring back a lot of memories also. We used only three to keep the beef in, and I hated digging postholes. I would tack wire to trees or anything to keep from digging. Our cattle was tame and rarely left the property unless a storm came and a tree totally took out a section of fence.

Now a Cornbread Red Anecdote. Eddie 'The Hat' Burton knew Red a bit and there was a time during a Vegas Tournament when Red was holding some good money while Eddie was broke or near broke or acting like he was broke, and Red was allowing Eddie to hang with him for the evening and go with him to the crap tables. Red decided to try a simple little plan where he would bet on all these points and hope that a seven DID NOT come up. As long as the seven did not come he would pocket money each roll. Well it was very crowded but Red managed to get the bets down on all those numbers and all of a sudden that guy named Alibi is behind them trying to give advice. He says " Red, be careful. You better check some numbers. Blah blah. " As soon as Alibi starts talking the shooter slings the dice and of course a SEVEN comes up. Red looks at Alibi with a scowl that would peel paint off a wall and Eddie curses him also, blaming everything on Alibi. Eddie, of course is pulling for Red to win as hard as Red is, for he is looking for a big jellyroll if things work out.

Well Alibi turns around and makes a quick exit. Red makes some standard bets on the pass or come line and after about 30 or 40 minutes he decides to try his little system again. So the table is very crowded and busy but Red manages to get all of those numbers with the bets he wants on each of them. More than before. He loads up this time. About the time the shooter reaches for the dice, Alibi appears behind them again out of thin air saying "Damn Red. Be careful. You need to check some numbers first. Blah Blah blah" Well you guessed it. Another seven comes up again on the first freaking roll once again. This time Red does not even try to contrll himself. He starts screaming at Alibi. "Would you get the fuc* out of here you GD blank blank jinxing SOB &&(^%&(*&$#$%^&&&&&&&&&***)*&&*******You could hear him all across the casino. If you could have heard Eddie tell it with all the added comments and background and his impressions of the parties, you would have enjoyed it and chuckled for sure. No Jellyroll for the Hat that night. It went downhill from there..................

Oh, Ghosty, I'm so frickin glad you're in stroke. Nothing excites me more. :lol

P.S. Of course I would stick by my Duck. He's charming, suave, and de-boner. Unlike you and the rest of your Devil's Triangle. The Duck does not make rude, sexist remarks about me. He is always gentlemanly.

xo,
Prudish Clare

Ghosty, I am not only excited, but quite thrilled that you will be going to the DCC. (Thank you a million times over to onepocket.org). I will finally be free of your juvenile spurts. :lol:lol:

Here are a couple of the most flattering pics of a youthful Bensinger Beard.

...It's been up since early AM..Your response has been deafening...It did get a little lost, among your cohort's inane babbling...Please respond before you hock your laptop, your cell phone, and Fred's new stick, at the DCC..

Now this here is an all-time classic op.org thread that I thought I'd resurrect for all of our newer members that never saw it - lotta funny stuff in it - start at the beginning - it's interesting to see that a lot of the members don't look the way you thought they would - and for sure you don't want to miss seeing the pic of sunnyone that's included in the thread - you can finally see what she looks like...:heh...

And, it was the right time to bring it back up because the 2013 DCC is coming up next week and two of our esteemed op.org members ( miller/Dustin & tsk7878/Tom ) are making their first time appearance at the DCC, and I thought I'd better add their pics to the thread so all you DCC attendees will be able to also recognize them when you see them there…:heh...

This first pic is of miller/Dustin playing in his bar league…as you can tell by his pic, Dustin is a neighborly/church choir member/family man kind of guy…...I'm not sure if he'll be allowed to wear his leather vest/colors playing at the DCC though......

This second pic is of Tom/tsk7878…just as he looks in his pic, Tom is a real strong player and an intense competitor - he gives me 9-7 when we play…most all of you will need weight if you gamble with him at the DCC......
