As most of you know, the Derby City Classic can no longer host our HOF dinner on premises. And anything local would really not be very local, since the nearest town of New Albany is a solid 20 minutes or so away. It's not the Derby/Diamond people's fault at all -- they very much still want us. It is 100% an issue with the Horseshoe new casino taking over so much of the old facility, there is no longer a place to do it, or a night to hold it.

So, I am pleased to announce that we are going to try a new location in 2020, in New Orleans at or near Buffalo's in conjunction with the BIG One tournament they hold annually Memorial Day weekend. We are looking at Wed May 20th, which is the night before the Buffalo's tournament begins, so it will not conflict with any tournament matches, but will provide an important and fun added reason to attend the Buffalo's tournament, and vice versa, an added reason to attend our HOF dinner at this new location. We still have a lot of details to work out, but I would like to thank Joe Long and Buffalo's for stepping up to provide a compatible location to continue with our HOF dinner!

So after the first of the year we will kick off Hall of Fame nominations and voting for the class of 2020!!

Thank you for understanding, and I hope to see you at Buffalo's!!

We are honored to carry on the tradition this year. We'll try to have a memorable dinner with great honorees and a little New Orleans spice added.

I’m looking forward to it for sure, and to hold it in conjunction with the biggest money One Pocket tournament is a bonus on top!!!

Sounds awesome! I am skipping the Derby this year and was planning on going to Buffs tournament instead so hopefully I can get there.

Why not see if you can make it a breakfast at derby instead of a dinner? Might be more availability for various dining options in the morning.

Hey, Steve, just wondering - are we having a MOT in 2020 ? Hall of Fame end of May, MOT usually 1st week of June.

Sort of like on Facebook;), just asking for a friend. I always look forward towards our yearly tournaments.
