So, did you go for it and shoot the 11/9 carom drawing over to bump the 7, or did you shoot the 2 and stick? Or do you remember? Or did you shoot another shot?
I'm crossing the 4 toward my hole, CB to bottom rail. Might make the 4, and I think the worst that can happen (with an accurate hit on the 4) is leave a back-cut bank that's not free.

At least that's my shot with this mouse. :p

I shot another shot Jeff...

Luckily I had just enough angle to be able to naturally, bank the 6 over to my side, while coming off of it with max. outside english on the cueball, then spinning off of Bert's long rail and bumping up off of the foot rail to end up safe - it ended up like this ----->

Nice touch ghost. I would tend to hit that shot too hard, or not get enough juice on the CB by trying to avoid "too hard."

Good result.

Thanks bro's...

...and John...the key for executing that type of shot is: hit it with a nice soft, smooth, fluid, easy stroke, and let that maximum outside spin do the job for you when the cueball glides into the long rail...if you practice some like that, let me know how it goes.
