I grew up playing bank pool in W. Kentucky, been playing pool for 55 years.
I have played in all 12 of the DCC's finishing in the money 8 out of 12 times.
My highest finish was 17th. I'm well known in the Louisville area. I am signed up to play in Banks at the 13th DCC this coming weekend. Hope to see you there.

Are you the "Kentucky Jim", I heard about (was it last year or the year before?) that got a big game up in one of the action tables, and lost a few games and then took off the entire rail when it counted? AND did it shirtless?

If so, that story made it's way back to me, (one of buddies got bit good on that one:)) and really made my blood pump about how I needed to get there and get something like that on video.

If that was you, can I get a interview with you when I'm down there? You sound like a real interesting man, that I would love to have some footage of.

Geez... I thought it had to have been you, that was the "Kentucky Jim", that my buddy was telling me about from a DCC last year or 2.

I mean.. here's some information I got from my friend about this guy.

1. He was referred to as "Kentucky Jim"

2. He was a great banker

3. He did this at the Derby

4. he was a older guy

Your information.

1. Your from Kentucky and your name is Jim
2. Your obviously a great banker, by your DCC record
3. You've a regular Derby goer
4. You're a older guy

You can see how I could have been led to believe it was you... agreed?:)

Oh well..... the plot thickens, the mystery deepens:cool:

I agree, he is one if a kind. I talked to him for quite a while last year just BS'ing. He told me he hit the casino up real good before he played that match with Kirkwood, which he won and took off a lot of railbirds with it.

D<-- was on the sucker side of that bet.....
