Tom, you will be hard pressed to get any pictures of the top player's, by themselves...They are always accompanied by someone (who shall go un-named) fawning all over them, with his arm draped "affectionately" around their shoulder...He is just sooooo popular...

I attended last year as a spectator. I wanted to be frugal to stay an extra day or two. I ended up spending between 50 - 60 to stay at a dive for a few nights. I decided that this year, I would secure better accommodations.
My boss shared a site with me called Better Bidding ( http://www.betterbidding.com ) .
If you are using Priceline or Hotwire to get hotels, you can search by the city of Louisville in the search bar. This should return a list of topics for that area and how folks secured wins for their hotel stays by sharing what they bid for how many stars on Priceline or what hotels might be which "ID'd" on Hotwire that does not provide names prior to making a selection. I am shooting to securing a room for 50.00 per an evening at the Galt House in downtown Louisville.

I by no means am trying to take away business from the casino, but am just trying to help out others that might be on a tight budget and saving a few duckets could equate to being able to stay there an additional day or two. Hopefully this can help out some folks out there.
