The interviewer speaks with my Mentor, Ernie Presto, while my Dad, Merhl 'Smitty' Smith, (white hair and glasses) demonstrates some shots.

Wow, what a cherish video/memory. How cool is that your dad was also a 3c player, and you carried on. I had not known of Presto. I hope some more threads develop on some of the 3c players of the Chicago area.
In researching I did realize there is a rich history of 3c players from Chicago. Jake Shaefer jr. for one!

Great memories, Bill. I knew your dad before I met you as he would come to the Cushion n Cue tourneys in Oak Park, MI. He was one nice man and a good player. May he rest in peace.
