Efren will play an exhibition match this Sat against Jose Parica at a place called The Billiard Plaza. I don't know if that is the old Sal Butera pool room or not. Afterward Efren will play challenge matches with all comers. I heard he flies back to the Phillipines the following day.

I am getting 8-6. The shooter makes his winning ball, but also makes my winning ball. Who wins? And does it matter which ball goes in first? And what if he makes a ball, and my winning ball, does his inning continue?

Sad news. Don Jackson died yesterday. He was a good player and a regular at Hard Times Bellflower for many years, and before that could be found in any and all pool rooms and bars in LA or Orange County. He had some health problems, and died in his sleep. We will miss him.

I decided I needed a pool table more than a couch and chairs. So I bought an old Gold Crown that used to be in Kenny Ishida's Golden Cue in El Monte, and they are going to deliver it and install it today! Can't wait to get back in stroke!
