Shoot 1 ball into 2 ball, knocking them up to endrail by my side. Draw cueball back to bottom rail by the 1/2 diamond

just a question to those that watched johnny play
did he always finish his stroke off to the side he was trying to "steer" the shot??
i was surprised watching his mechanics
but as they say
talent and a million balls gets you not to miss and play shape....:D
just think how good he could have been with good mechanics.........:D
just askin

I'd roll whitey forward and leave em on the low side of the eight on the rail, so he has only the eight or the 8/twelve to look at, everything right now is lined up for Erv'...

i know my last few wwyd werent very exciting....
but i think end game decisions are the ones one learns later than sooner
so for the lurkers and newbees i try to show some shots that have principles to learn
this one is a great example
i was playing with tom when a situation came up
i wasnt sure what to do
im always thinking get a ball to my side get a threat and hide the cue ball
he said to me whats a trap?
i said when your opponent cant see anything (and you have a threat by your pocket)
he said if your opponent cant see anything and you force him to move a favorable ball for him for you thats a good shot
im para phrasing tom correct my misunderstandings please

Larry, Do you remember what I told you about players making subconscious adjustments for the flaws in their strokes? J.E. is one example of that premise.
