We never have played a "fair" game... but I'm not one to complain. I'll try to outrun the nuts like always. I've never been smart enough to get weight from better players. My only hope is to improve.

You bank better than me and move better than me... I wouldn't let anyone else in on my action against you unless they like underdogs.

Having a good nine ball stroke doesn't win one pocket sessions..

Hi all,

I've made reservations for all nine days, am planning to play in the banks, one pocket tournaments, I may well be the oldest competitor there. Missed it last year due to a prior commitment. I've been going to the Derby since 2004, when people ask me why I go every year, I tell them that it is the best all around tournament in the Country. I felt that way in 2004 and I still feel that way today.

Anyone interested in getting together with an old man for some banks, and or one pocket, don't hesitate to contact me for some friendly action (up to $20 per game)

Simon....You know I'm just messing with you in these posts...but as I've told you before...you're playing pretty good One Pocket, and with your excellent pool skills and good attitude..if I worked with you regularly for 6 months I'd raise your game by 1-2 balls.

albeit flight of a helicopter at 5 or 6 foot off the ground as fast as it will go, is still the most fun you can have with your pants on...

Got to agree with that Bille. Took one of those helicopter tours of the grand canyon a few years ago. Pilot got down close to the ground, swear I think the skids brushed some rocks, and went balls to the wall toward the canyon. When we shot past the canyon rim ya stomach drops - real bad. Man what a ride. You did your time brother, enjoy your retirement. If'n you was one next to a star you had the ideal rank in my opin. Many's the day I wish I'd a stayed in but hell would'a probably got my arse shot off in 'nam. Got out just as it was starting to break bad. Do often wonder how my life would have changed if I had stayed. Probably wouldn't have my business now. Oh well, can drive lookin' in the rearview mirror.
