That didn't take me long at all.Yes that Is wrong.In bank you have to call every shot not just the ones you feel like.What's obivous? That's a joke.That needs to be fixed. All you have to do Is point to or say which pocket you Intend to make said ball In.It's not really hard and It doesn't really take much time either.I guess It just comes from where and how I grew up playin with the best bankers In the world.Truman,Donny,Gary,and I even know that Buggs called his shots too. Here's how I do It Cary.I either touch the pocket with my hand or cue,every time on every shot.IMO nobody In the world Is so good that they don't have to call their every shot.Thanks for bringing that up too.John B.

I play it both ways. With certain people I dont call the obvious pocket and then there are those that insist you call every shot. It is no big deal. Personally I dont think you should have to call an obvious bank, just like it is in straight pool.

...playing the right way got to do with not winning? You say that as if it is something bad to play the right percentages. The problem I have with your shot selection suggestions is that the shots you say to shoot are ok for you, and you only. 95% of the guys on this forum aint gonna be able to handle them 9 footers like you.

Agreed. Being particular about the rules you play by and adhering to them always, prevents so many problems and arguments from arising that it's amazing that some people still don't do it all the time.

P.S. The ball also has to be called, not just the pocket.
